1. Who is responsible?
This site (kinesis-money.nl) is run by Vincent Gijbels from 's-Hertogenbosch. It is an independent, Dutch-language affiliate site about Kinesis Money — not part of Kinesis Cayman or a Kinesis-affiliated company.
2. What data does this site collect?
Almost nothing. Concretely:
- No cookies that recognise you or your device on a subsequent visit.
- No contact form and no newsletter — there is no form where you can leave details.
- No profiling, no ad networks, no pixels from Facebook, Google Ads or similar parties.
What I do use: Vercel Analytics. That is a cookieless statistics service that records per visit which page was opened, from what type of device (phone, laptop) and from which country (at country level). No IP address is stored and visits are not linked to each other — so I cannot see who you are or whether you return.
3. What happens when you click through to Kinesis Money?
The “Open an account” buttons on this site contain a referral link with an ID linked to me. If you click it and open an account, Kinesis Money links that new account to my referral ID.
From that moment you are a customer of Kinesis Money — not of me. At sign-up, Kinesis itself records your email address, name and identity verification. What they do with that data is set out in their privacy policy at kinesis.money/privacy-policy.
What I see via the partner dashboard is exclusively aggregated: how many accounts have been opened via my link and what commission results from it. No names, no email addresses, no balances.
4. Hosting and technical logs
The site runs on the hosting service Vercel (servers in the EU and the United States). Vercel keeps short-lived technical logs to keep the site working (error messages, protection against attacks). I have no substantive access to those myself.
5. Your rights under the GDPR
Under the European privacy law (GDPR) you have the right to access, correction, restriction and erasure of your personal data. Because this site stores no personal data of visitors, there is in practice little to exercise — there is simply nothing to show or delete.
Do you still have a question or complaint about how this site handles data? Get in touch via my LinkedIn profile. An email address or contact form has deliberately not been published.
In addition, you can always file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
6. Changes
This privacy statement may be amended if the site or the services used change. The date at the top and bottom indicates the most recent version.
